GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA
Begin your journey from Guwahati and drive towards the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kaziranga region. Visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple, Nagaon Continue towards Kaziranga In the evening, enjoy a cultural programme at Orchid Park, showcasing the traditional culture, music and dance of Assam and Northeast India Check in to your resort/hotel and relax.
KAZIRANGA – BOMDILA
Start the day early with an exciting morning jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, exploring the park's grasslands and forests. After breakfast, proceed towards Arunachal Pradesh. En route:Bhalukpong – Gateway to Arunachal Pradesh Tipi Orchid Research Centre/Park,Nichipu Waterfall,Nichipu Tunnel,Jameri Suspension Bridge. Continue your scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills and arrive at Bomdila.
BOMDILA – TAWANG
After breakfast, begin the spectacular drive towards Tawang through the Eastern Himalayas. Major attractions en route: Baisakhi,Sela Pass – one of the most spectacular high-altitude mountain passes, Sela Lake, Jaswant Garh War Memorial – dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat Continue towards Tawang through the dramatic Himalayan landscape.
TAWANG – BUMLA PASS & HIGH-ALTITUDE LAKES – TAWANG
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion towards the Indo-China border region. Visit: Bumla Pass – subject to permit, weather and security clearance, Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake) – surrounded by dramatic mountains, PTSO Lake – a beautiful high-altitude Himalayan lake Return to Tawang by evening. Later, witness the Light & Sound Show at Tawang War Memorial, subject to operational schedule.
TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, explore the cultural and spiritual heritage of Tawang. Visit: Tawang Monastery – one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India, Giant Buddha Statue, 6th Dalai Lama Birthplace, Tawang War Memorial, Explore Tawang Local Market for shopping and local experiences. Evening at leisure to relax and explore the town independently.
TAWANG – DIRANG / SANGTI VALLEY
After breakfast, check out from Tawang and begin your descent towards Dirang. En route: Jung Waterfall (Nuranang Falls) – one of the most spectacular waterfalls of Arunachal Pradesh Sela Tunnel – an engineering marvel providing all-weather connectivity across the Sela region Continue towards Dirang. After check-in, visit: Dirang Monastery, Depending on accommodation availability, stay at Dirang or Sangti Valley.
DIRANG – SANGTI VALLEY – SHERGAON
After breakfast, explore the picturesque Sangti Valley before proceeding towards Shergaon. Visit: Sangti Valley Sheep Farm Enjoy the beautiful Himalayan landscapes and valley views London Bridge Proceed towards Shergaon Visit Shergaon Gompa and experience the peaceful Monpa village atmosphere Check in to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening amidst the mountains.
